Madison Cook

Laser Specialist

Madi’s journey into laser started long before she ever picked up a handpiece.

At around 12 years old, she would come along to her mum’s laser appointments with Rebecca. Even then, she remembers how comfortable and welcoming the clinic felt, the trust her mum had in Rebecca, and the difference the treatments made to her mum’s confidence.

As she got older, that early interest developed into a genuine passion for the industry. At 16, Madi first approached Rebecca about the possibility of an apprenticeship. The timing wasn’t quite right, but she didn’t let the idea go. At 18, she came back and asked again.

Her mum had always told her that if she was going to enter the laser industry, she wanted her to learn from Rebecca and that trust became an important part of Madi’s own journey too.

Before joining Remedi, Madi completed her VTCT Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications, building a strong foundation in skin, hair, anatomy, beauty therapy and laser and light treatments.

But her training didn’t stop at college.

Madi then spent a full year working closely alongside Rebecca, shadowing consultations, treatments and client journeys before gradually progressing to treating independently. She was taught to look far beyond simply operating a laser. learning how to assess skin and hair properly, adapt treatments to the individual, understand reactions and treatment progression, manage expectations and, above all, put client safety first.

Today, Madi has been independently treating clients for around two years and has developed into a confident, knowledgeable and incredibly caring practitioner.

What she loves most about laser hair removal is seeing both the science and the human side of the treatment come together. Every client has a different skin type, hair type, history and reason for walking through the door, and Madi believes every treatment plan should reflect that.

She is also a firm believer in honesty. Laser isn’t suitable for everyone, and part of providing a high standard of care is being prepared to say when a treatment may not deliver the result a client is hoping for.

Known in clinic for being bubbly, chatty and a little bit of a perfectionist, Madi loves getting to know her clients and following their progress from their very first consultation to their final treatment.

Her goal is simple: to keep learning, keep progressing and become known for delivering safe, effective and genuinely results-driven laser treatments.
